Dear BearFaced friends old and new,
We could never have predicted the good fortune we received this year, to relocate our home and businesses to the Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Monastery in Bucksport, Maine- a property dedicated to the principles of Saint Francis of Assissi, patron saint of animals.
While this gift has been undoubtedly positive, we are taking the season to restock and organize after moving and health complications have arisen within our family.
Our consolation for our beloved BearFaced customers is that we will be selling 20% off Gift Cards until our shop reopens. We appreciate your understanding and hope the discount assuages any disappointment.

I've been using beef tallow based skin care but I wanted to try {bear} fat because I heard great things about it and I am not disappointed. It feels lighter and less greasy than the tallow and it also sinks in to the skin more quickly.
I love that the ingredients are ethically harvested as well. I'll definitely be ordering again in future.
